“Our goal is to ensure a seamless and memorable event that showcases our Country’s strengths and fosters camaraderie among participants and spectators. I am certain that we cannot fail to achieve this.” noted the Cabinet Secretary, Ababu Namwamba.

He assured the CECMs that his Ministry and the Government recognised the significance of working with the county government to foster sports in Kenya. “This is an Initiative that I want us to be part and parcel of until the last minute. I believe we can work and work well if we join hands to drive this project,” He added.

CS Ababu assured the CECMs that his ministry officials were under instruction to thwart any forms of mischief in the tournament. “Our officers have some firm instructions from the authorities to arrest any mischief related to Age and Nationality. This not only endangers our children but also greatly dents our Country’s reputation.”

He rallied the CECMs and County Sports officers to lead the process in their respective counties to ensure they delivered a memorable event.

“Through this tournament, we look forward to living the spirit of our #TalantaHela initiative to unleash the various diamonds from the roughs. We are going to be deliberate, intentional and structured in the manner we execute this, to ensure that we build careers and sustainable livelihoods through talents,” the CS noted.
