Lawal Sani, a prominent supporter and spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress, has taken to his social media to comment on the increasing insecurity in several parts of Nigeria, Niger and the surrounding nations. He believes that he finds this situation deeply troubling.

In line with this, the political activist took to his social media to share his views; He believes that the current situation in the North is deeply concerning. According to him, these acts target women currently in their custody. This crisis has far-reaching consequences. Accordingly, he reasoned that this Boko haram and bandits were attempting to bring the chaos and instability of war into neighbouring countries.

Lawal Sani believes that the people are doing everything to install democratically elected leaders. They claim that they seek to remove the current military junta.

The presidents of the ECOWAS countries must unite and take decisive action against these common threats. These include namely Boko Haram and the bandits. By cooperating and coordinating efforts, they can effectively combat these insurgent groups. Further, they can easily protect their citizens.

Additionally, addressing the root causes of these conflicts, such as poverty, lack of education, and unemployment, will be crucial in finding long-term solutions.

Furthermore, while there is talk about farming for food security and economic development, the reality remains dire. The ongoing violence and insecurity in the North West hinder the potential for progress and stability. It is essential to prioritize peace and security in these regions before meaningful development occurs.

Amid these challenges, it is heartening to see that the National Assembly opposes engaging in military conflict with Niger. Instead, they must pursue diplomatic channels and peaceful resolutions. Accordingly, they must prioritize dialogue and cooperation.
