Bangladesh staged a protest in this regard while warning the government of China to refrain from such actions. At the same time, they extended their support to the population in East Turkistan.

The Bangladesh Khilafat Andolan also urged the international community to support the Uyghur Muslim population in East Turkistan. China has an illegal occupation of the region. Meanwhile, the various authorities in Bangladesh came together for a Dowa Mehfil at the Bangladesh Photojournalist Auditorium. The meeting happened in the commemoration of Barren Day.

Other institutions that managed and arranged the protests in support of the population include the Mohajir Welfare and Development Committee. Almost 200 protestors came together at the University circuits of Dhaka. They organized human chains and protests in support of the people of Uyghur Muslims. During the protest, they distributed leaflets highlighting atrocities committed against the Muslim communities by the government of China.
