St Kitts and Nevis SOCA Monarch Finals concluded, results here

Under the banner of Sugar Mas 51, St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee hosted the SOCA Monarch Finals for the POWER SOCA & GROOVY SOCA contenders. The National Carnival Committee has declared the results of the competition on its official social media page. 

The Minister responsible for the National Carnival, Samal Duggins, also took to their social media account to congratulate the winners of the titles of SOCA Monarch (GROOVY & POWER)

The winner of the SOCA Groovy Monarch title: Mr Bagnall played his rendition of the song: Can’t miss it. He secured a total of 240 points from the Panel of judges.

Meanwhile, Stadics won the title of SOCA Power Monarch. For the contest, he played the song De Cowbell. He received 250 points from the judges, propelling himself to the top of the category.

The First and Second Runners up, in both categories of the competition are:

POWER

First Runner Up in the category, Mr Bagnell played De Stage for his audience and received 241 points from the Panel of judges.

Second Runner Up, T-Bone played his rendition of the song, Home on the Street. He received a total of 223 points from the judges of the contest.

GROOVY

First Runner Up in the category was Mr Hype. He played Teef and received 235 points from the judges.

The second runner-up, Tobap Played Festival Love, received 234 points from the judges. 

Eight SOCA Musicians contested the contest in either category.
