St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew addresses water shortage situation in St Peter’s

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to share an update regarding the water situation in his constituency. The people of his constituency are currently going through the drought situation.

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to share an update regarding the water situation in his constituency. The people of his constituency are currently going through the drought situation. The Prime Minister shared that the St Peter’s Community is currently without water due to drought.

The government authorities are making some important efforts to combat the situation. Accordingly, the workers from the Water Department visited the catchment area. The authorities believe there will be water in the area by tomorrow morning. In the meantime, the fire truck has been out in the communities delivering the water to the houses.

The Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, stated that Your Government is expanding the desalination plant for Marriott to increase by about 400000 gallons. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister stated that the process for a two million-gallon desalination plant has already started.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew shared that the previous government did not pay attention to finding a solution for the water situation in the federation. Meanwhile, the team led by Dr Drew and the SKNLP administration has worked diligently to develop and improve the federation’s working.

He claimed that the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party administration has been working on the issue on a priority basis. The people of St Kitts and Nevis applauded the Prime Minister for his work and dedication.

The issue of water services in the country has been interrupted due to the lack of proper rain during the season. The people’s issues make them want to pray for rain for the country.
