Osun State: CP Olaleye meets Security Chiefs ahead of Government transition

Ahead of the transition of the Government in the Osun state of Nigeria and the inauguration of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the governor of State, the Commissioner of Police CP Faleye S. Olaleye of the state command met with security chiefs of the State.

The transition of the state government will take place on November 27, 2022. The police authorities are trying to prepare themselves for the expected unrest during the Government’s transition.

The Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Faleye S. Olaleye, held a meeting with the security chiefs in the State in his office to deliberate and re-strategize the security architectures before, during and after the transition. The meeting took place on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

The Commissioner of Police Olaleye held the meeting in preparation for the successful transition of Government in the State Of Osun.

Following the meeting, The security chiefs, coordinated by the Commissioner of Police CP Faleye S. Olaleye, inspected Osogbo City Stadium, Omo-west area, the program venue. Following this, the security chiefs and the Commissioner of Police went around the city on operation “show of strength.”

Given this, the Commissioner of Police, Faleye S. Olaleye, in collaboration with other sister security agencies, assured members of the public of adequate security before, during and beyond the transition program.

At the same time, The Commissioner of Police also urged parents and guardians to warn their wards to stay clear of anything that would cause a breach of the peace as anyone caught will face the full wrath of the law.

As per the report from Daily Post Nigeria, Faleye S. Olaleye has disclosed that all security agencies of the State are ready to deal with political miscreants threatening to disrupt the inauguration process.

He announced the same to the media while inspecting the Osogbo Township Stadium. It is the venue of Sunday’s inauguration ceremony.
