Castries: The Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire expressed his delight as Saint Lucia’s Jazz and Arts Festival was recognised as one of the 10 best jazz festivals in the world. This year the festival is being held from April 30 to May 12, 2024.
He greeted the citizens on the occasion of the opening day of the International Jazz and Arts Festival and unveiled the list of upcoming events. The night started with bang and the artists graced the occasion with their electrifying performances.
It is one of the most celebrated festivals in Saint Lucia, where people enjoy soulful and swinging music. It is celebrated annually on April 30.
Minister Hilaire took to his official social media handle (Facebook) to share “Happy International Jazz Day, April 30th 2024 from one of the top 10 Jazz Festivals in the World”, he said.
The celebrations for Saint Lucia’s Jazz and Arts Festival began with the opening ceremony on April 30 and will conclude on May 12. Here is the schedule of events taking place across the island in celebration of the most anticipated festival of the year:
