Anja Ringgren Lovén asks to fund treatment of NGO girls

David Emmanuel Umem and Anja Ringgren Lovén, have taken to the social media account of Land of Hope to urge the people of goodwill to provide donations to help them pay the treatment bills.

Nigeria-based Non-governmental organization Land of Hope is home to 91 children living under the NGO management’s care. Recently, two girls from the NGO were rushed to the hospital to get treatment for serious illnesses. Accordingly, the founders of the NGO, David Emmanuel Umem and Anja Ringgren Lovén, have taken to the social media account of Land of Hope to urge the people of goodwill to provide donations to help them pay the treatment bills.

As per the update shared by Anja Ringgren Loven, one of the girls of Land of Hope found a lump in her right breast in early December. The NGO officials took her to the hospital, and during the operation, the doctors removed two big lumps from her breast.

The doctors also found lumps in her left breast, and she will need an operation again. The medical practitioner removed tissues for analysis to determine if it was cancer. Anja shared that they just got the first results, and the doctors found no tumours in the first analysis. It’s been a horrible wait, and now we need to plan for yet another operation to remove the lumps in her left breast.

Additionally, Anja shared that a week ago, one of the NGO girls was rushed back from school to the hospital due to episodes of convulsion.
The doctors stabilized her at the hospital due to the severity of the condition, and later a neurologist examined her. We have not yet gotten any results and must take her to further examinations.

She confessed that she chose not to mention the girls’ names because they are both teenagers, and their problems are very fragile health issues.
Land of hope founder urged for the support of people of goodwill from across the globe to pay for the hospital bills and operations. Anja urged the people to donate whatever you have. Any amount is a very big support for the girls’ treatments.
