The meeting between the politician and the farmers of La Pointe happened on April 6, 2023. The politician expressed his delight at being a part of the meeting. The farmers and the Deputy speaker of the lower house of Saint Lucia discussed the possibility of converting the current production plant in the area to an agro-processing facility.

He shared that the conversion of the production plant into an agriculture processing facility will add value and expand the range of products which they currently offer. The politician engaged the farmers on several critical issues and discussed their role in the development of the nation. Here, he took the opportunity to remark that the current economic environment requires us to be dynamic, responsive and innovative.
