Aguata LGA to launch “One Project One Community” initiative

Aguata Local Government Area, Dr Chibueze Ofobuike, has announced the launch date for the “One Project One Community” initiative.

The Chairman of the Transition Committee of Aguata Local Government Area, Dr Chibueze Ofobuike, has announced the launch date for the “One Project One Community” initiative. The project aims to positively impact the lives of all the communities in the Aguata Local Government Area. Chairman Chibueze Ofobuike has teamed up with several community stakeholders coming from various communities.

Additionally, The initiative will commence on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The initiative is a government-community involvement for the sole purpose of impacting lives. The chairman of the Transition committee announced that the target of the “One Project One Community” initiative is to ensure that by December 2023, each of the fourteen communities in the local government has a completed project for the benefit of the people.

Meanwhile, the sources suggest that the people of the community and the government have termed the “One Project One Community” initiative unique as it marks the first time the local government is attempting to involve patriotic members of the community and the various stakeholders to assist them in the execution of identified projects.

Further, media reports siuggest, The head of the local government of Aguata has started the project with the aim of involving the committed members of the society in the projects of public welfare. Under the project, the local government and community members will come together for the first time to work for a “greater Aguata.”

According to the update shared on social media, Aguata Local Government Area is implementing the project under the theme of uplifting lives positively. Under the government and community project, 14 communities within the Aguata Local Government area will witness the implementation of 14 welfare-oriented projects till the deadline of the project, December 2023.

Social media users from various communities have shown their support to the initiative. The historical “One Project One Community” initiative will lead to positive impact on the lives of the people. Accordingly, social media users noted that the governor is on the right track.
