Samuel Igwedimma Nwofor attends birthday celebration of Anambra Bishop

Samuel Igwedimma Nwofor attended the 70th Birthday Anniversary of the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor. The celebration of the birth anniversary was hosted at the Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Awka, on November 24, 2022.

Ambassador Nwofor accompanied various leaders from the Anambra state to the event. The accompanying politicians included Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra State and the speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Uchenna Okafor, among others.

Further, the celebrations also witnessed the presence of many dignitaries, including over 10 Catholic Bishops from across the country. These dignitaries came to celebrate with the Catholic Bishop of Awka on his remarkable 70th Birthday.

Samuel Igwedimma Nwofor will contest the 2023 general elections from his affiliated party, the All Progressive Grand Alliance. He is contesting the elections from the Anambra state for a seat in the House of assembly. He will be contesting the elections from Awka South Constituency A.

The politician shared the update on his visit to celebrate the Catholic Bishop on his Birth Anniversary on social media. He wished Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor on occasion with these words:

Samuel Igwedimma Nwofor is highly invested in the developmental works in the Anambra state. Recently, on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, Samuel Nwofor accompanied the governor of Anambra state as he visited Agulu Awka Community for an inspection of a strategic road network that passes through Umuogbu Village.

The road has been exposing residents and natives of the area to serious environmental hazards both on and off the rainy season. Governor Soludo assured the natives of the region that the problem would receive adequate attention from the state government as soon as possible.
