Ababu Namwamba, cabinet secretary for the ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and Arts, in the government of Kenya, met and engaged with the Musicians and artists represented by the musician Rufftone.
They discussed different ways of making the art and music industry grow by which the economy of Kenya would take a hike.
They talked about the different factors in the industry which can reflect their positive effect on the country while promoting the art. The Cabinet Secretary also spoke about the unity among the artists and creatives and how collaborations and joint projects can enhance it.
He further added that such activities and partnerships would also propel them to the next level in a much more creative as well as financial manner.
The officials discussed that as they elaborate on the different ways of maximising the creative field potential, they will find more tricks to make it more relatable and enjoyable for the content consumers.
Moreover, the cabinet minister urged all the industry’s creatives to come together in one accord, which will help them advance their plans for the artists and creatives, which will benefit them in the long run.
The Cabinet Secretary, Ababu Namwamba further mentioned that the ministry would set up a National Art Summit later this month. At the event, artists from all over Kenya would get a chance or opportunity to showcase their talent and air their views and plans regarding the industry itself.
The cabinet Secretary of youth affairs, sports and art also shared pictures from the event in which they discussed the whole plan and future objectives. The entire meeting focused on providing more opportunities to young and established artists and creative professionals.
The collaboration technique is advantageous in the industry because all the creative professionals can expand their creative reach by discussing with each other and generating magical pieces of art and music.
The meeting also shed light on the sports field in Kenya and how these three industries can grow Kenya’s economy and make a world attraction for its artists and sportsperson worldwide.
