Before getting this scholarship, Sani was enrolled in primary three in a community school as he belonged to an underprivileged home.

The governor, who was stunned by his talent, led to the sponsorhsip of his education from the Borno State Education Trust Fund (ETF).

While giving the cheque yesterday, July 18, in Maiduguri, the governor revealed, “This primary three pupil from Gwange community grabbed my attention when he utilised mud to create the replica of the Customs Roundabout Flyover.”

Zulum met with the talented boy’s family and offered them a scholarship for their son to finish his secondary education and to harness his talents in the coming future as he was from an underprivileged family who couldn’t provide him with a good education through which he would be able to achieve his dreams.

Sequel to the visit to Sani’s family by Babagana Umara Zulum, who is the chairperson of the ETF, Professor Hauwau Biu gave the cheque of Five Million and Twenty Nine Thousand Naira (N5,029,000), with the money already paid to a private school at which Musa will now be studying till the completion of his school period.
