He stated that I have been purchasing from black marketers between N300 to N350 per litre. There is no fuel in most gas stations in Abuja.

The stations which have fuel have a very long queue. Since I do not have the time to wait, he added that I often go to the black market.

Another motorist who told himself as Ubong Edet disclosed that even though he was able to buy the product of N250 at a filling station during the weekend, the problem in getting it after then made him purchase it at N300 per litre from the black market.

He stated that he purchased it for N250 on Saturday, July 9. He had to join a very long queue before he could even get it that day. Today, he said, it was even more difficult.

“The long queues are something else. So I chose to purchase black market today. I purchased it for N300 per litre,” he added.
