He stated, “At Lagos fashion fair exhibition, we are determined to create and promote the fashion industry around the world. To achieve this, we collaborate with fashionistas to promote their talent, expand their knowledge and improve their business.”

The Lagos Fashion Fair has acquired more than 3000 exhibitors, over 35,000 visitors, 35 speakers, 69.9 percent business networking opportunities, 84 large procurement buyers and 84% follow-up meetings.

The Lagos Fashion Fair and the Africa Fashion Week fusion platform are where innovative Nigerian fashion designers, enthusiasts and entrepreneurs will further link with international designers after the Covid-19 disruption to show the creativity and beauty of both worlds via their designs and innovations.

Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, the founder of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, said, “The government should concentrate on using fashion as another non-oil export to increase our nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).”

She further said, “Our creative skills are already solving the fashion sector into wealth creation. Lagos Fashion Fair and Africa Fashion Week Nigeria’s mix will provide an opportunity for creative designers, stylists, fashion professionals, retailers, models, trendsetters and customers to buy wholesale.”
