Adara leaders stated that more bodies were found in bushes in the villages attacked by terrorists in helicopters.

Awemi Maisamari, the National President of Adara Development Association, said, The program against Adara nation rages on. In the recent tragedy, Dogon Noma, Ungwan Gamu, Ungwan Sarki and Maikori villages near Maro in Kajuru Local Council were attacked on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

The death toll was 32 on Wednesday, as villagers were looking for more bodies. Seven more were discovered on Thursday morning.

As per him, the attack was initiated around the afternoon and continued till 6 pm.

Fulani terrorists carried it out on 150 motorcycles carrying three armed persons each.

DSP Mohammed Jalige, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), has not yet commented on this brutal attack that took place in Adara.

Other than that, Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has asked all political parties in the state of Kaduna and the state government not to motivate a Muslim-Muslim ticket during the 2023 general election.

As per the group, the promotion of such tickets by Nasir El-Rufai, Governor, has divided the people and stopped socio-economic development, highlighting that the Southern Kaduna people will rebel against any political arrangement lacking political balance in 2023.

Yesterday, in a statement, SOKAPU Political Committee complimented governorship nominees of the various political parties.

The group stated, “While we are pleased that the events leading to their emergence as nominees were successfully carried out devoid of roughness. We look forward to meeting them soon for fruitful deliberations on how we can create bridges in our dear state for development.”
