One Plus Nord 2 specifications leaked, can have 90Hz display

The specifications of OnePlus Nord 2 were leaked before the official announcement. It is speculated that the new OnePlus phone will make its debut as the successor to the original OnePlus Nord launched in India last year. It is rumored that the phone will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It is different from last year’s model equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G.

However, it is said that OnePlus Nord 2 retains the 90 Hz refresh rate of its predecessor. In particular, detailed information about OnePlus Nord 2 surfaced a few hours before its release. OnePlus Nord CE 5G is officially released, which is also expected to be an update of OnePlus Nord. Mavericks Steve Hemmerstoffer, who runs the @OnLeaks Twitter account, collaborated with 91mobiles to release the alleged specifications of OnePlus Nord 2, which is priced at about 2,000 yuan (approximately Rs 22,900).

According to a report from 91mobiles, OnePlus Nord 2 will be equipped with a 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The reported screen is slightly smaller than the 6.44-inch screen on the original OnePlus Nord. In addition, the new smartphone will be equipped with an 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, which confirms previous reports. Available in two different configurations, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

Optically speaking, OnePlus Nord 2 is said to have a triple rear camera with the main sensor. Auxiliary sensors of 50 megapixels and 8 megapixels and 2 megapixels. This is in contrast to OnePlus Nord, which has four rear cameras with a 48 MP main sensor. However, I believe that installing the camera in the new model will bring better results because it is equipped with a Sony IMX766 sensor. Just like OnePlus 9 Pro.

The exact details of when OnePlus Nord 2 will debut have not yet been announced, but there are rumors that this smartphone may be available in the second quarter, sometime in July. According to reports, after being certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), it is likely to be available in India soon. In addition, OnePlus recently confirmed the alias OnePlus Nord 2 in the FAQ section of one of its online promotions.
