Mr. Paul Aboi, Director of the Fire Service, disclosed this milestone in an exclusive interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Kaduna.
Between May and June, the Fire Service recorded a total of 25 fire incidents, predominantly affecting communities in Kaduna North, Zaria, and Kafanchan.
The causes attributed to these incidents varied, including bush burning, negligence, suspected arson, and improper use of electrical appliances.
“We saved property worth over N1 billion, and the good news is that no casualties were reported,” Mr. Aboi affirmed, highlighting the effectiveness of their operations in safeguarding lives and livelihoods amidst these challenges.
