Reportedly, a delegation from Pakistan, under the leadership of the Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif. However, the said interaction led to nothing beyond polite assurances.

In this regard, a report from the US Intelligence confirmed that the threat Pakistan is currently facing is serious and growing alarmingly. The security analysts of Pakistan have also agreed to the analysis. Both parties agree that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is capable of creating issues within the region.
