Four local Commonwealth of Dominica football teams faced one another in exciting Premier League matches. The matches took place on Sunday, June 11, 2023. For the first match, Promex Harlem United SC faced LA Starz FC for the game. The exciting sport took place at Benjamin Park in Portsmouth. Meanwhile, the Sagicor Southeast FC and Bombers faced off with one another for the second match of the Premier League.
Further, reports suggest that the two teams played the second match on Sunday, June 11, at the Dublanc playing field. The Commonwealth of Dominica football association shared the results for both games on their social media. The Premier League witnessed six matches played at various sports venues across the island. In the first match of the day on Sunday, June 11, 2023, The Promex Harlem United defeated LA Stars 5-1 at Benjamin Park. Nigel Sanderson scored a brace for Harlem. Meanwhile, Yvesterson Xavier, Tyreke Jno Baptiste Jahieel Daniel got one goal each. Nigel Sanderson of Harlem was named man of the match.
The Sagicor Southeast FC and Bombers played the second match at the Dublanc field. During this match, Defending champions Sagicor South started the game in trouble. In the beginning of the game, they were two games behind. However, they worked their way up to a hard-earned draw of 2 whole.
During the game, Davone George and Tyriq Joseph scored for the Bombers, with Adriel Lawrence getting a brace for South East. Adriel Lawrence was named man of the match.
