Saint Lucia: Jazz and Art Festival Concludes, Dy PM thanks stakeholders

The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, took to his social media account to extend his most profound gratitude to the organizing committee of the Jazz and Art Festival of Saint Lucia.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, took to his social media account to extend his most profound gratitude to the organizing committee of the Jazz and Art Festival of Saint Lucia. The Prime Minister, who handles the responsibility for the ministry of tourism, culture and the creative economy took to his social after the conclusin of the festival to share his most profound gratitude.

The Jazz and Art festival took place from Friday, May 5 to Sunday, May 14 for a duration of ten days. The 25th edition of the festival recieved a large crowd of revellers an locals who attened the event, making it a resounding success. Both Prime Minister Philip J Pierre and Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ernest Hilaire regularly shared the glimpses from the event on his social media account.

Accordingly, the minister of tourism and creative economy stated that as they bring this year’s Jazz and Arts Festival to a close, I want to say thank you! He extended his sincere gratitude to the patrons who supported the events and attended. Additionally, Minister Hilaire also stated his sincere gratitude to all the service providers who made it possible.

He also said Thank you to all the artistes and creatives who graced the stages across the island. The Saint Lucia Jazz and Art Festival was experiencing a halt due to the global circumstances including the Covid-19 pandemic. After the return of the festival in 2023, the people of Saint Lucia received the Jazz and Art festival with warmth and vigour. However they also shared that the return was marked by some challenges.

Accordingly, Minister of Tourism and creative economy stated that while our return year we faced some challenges, we will learn from them. He promised that they will help the country in arranging for an even better festival next year but we are glad to see a successful return of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival
