The prime minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre, has shared glimpses of the turnout of the people for the commencement of the most anticipated carnival event of the country. Jazz and the Art Festival is among the most noteworthy programmes in the Caribbean.

Accordingly, the prime minister expressed his excitement on receiving a turnout of thousands of people at the first event of the Jazz and The Art events.

Prime Minister Pierre shared an image of the people enjoying the festivities in his constituency. He shared on his social media that he was happy with the response to the return of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival. The first event took place in Mindoo Phillip Park in his constituency. The festival commenced on Friday, May 5, 2023.

The Prime Minister expressed that he was very pleased to host the thousands of people who came to his constituency to celebrate this spectacular return. Further, he urged the country’s people to build on this success. Meanwhile, The first event of the Jazz and the Art festival featured dancehall icon Shenseea and soca legend Kes the Band. These notable names in the Caribbean Entertainment industry were the event’s headliners.

Additionally, the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre, urged the country’s people to exercise caution while experiencing the festivities. In line with this, the law authorities of Saint Lucia have made arrangements to ensure that the people of saint lucia can remain safe for the event. The event started at 8:00 PM on May 5, 2023. According to the reports, The event was to go on indefinitely for the entertainment of the people.

Meanwhile, the authorities of Saint Lucia, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force played a significant part in the successful execution of the event. Accordingly, they coordinated the traffic flow through the various venues and made clear guidelines for implementation in these venues. The government committed to host the event in such a way that the people can attend the event safely.
