The latest instalment of the globally acclaimed and loved Black Panther is set to premiere in Nigeria. The sequel is titled, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

According to the film’s distribution company, the much-anticipated sequel of the 2017 film, Black Panther will be showcased in a premier held in Lagos.

FilmOne Entertainment, Wakanda Forever’s Distribution company, confirmed that the premier would be held ahead of the movie’s highly anticipated theatrical release globally on November 11, 2022.

Further, The Walt Disney Company, in association with the Africa International Film Festival and FilmOne Entertainment, announced on October 18, 2022, that Nigeria will host the official African Premiere of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

FilmOne Nigeria’s official Instagram account shared the news of the Premiere. The post featured the iconic helmet with a caption:

Additionally, In the new instalment of The Black Panther Series, Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, is rumoured to don the Black Panther suit after the death of Chadwick Boseman.

It is worth a mention that Boseman played the titular role in the first part of the movie series and subsequent character appearances in other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Projects.

Boseman died in 2020 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.

The eagerly awaited sequel of the much loved Marvel movie will see Wakanda, a fictional, technologically advanced city in East Africa and home to the titular character, be threatened by newfound enemies.

Several fan-favourite characters will also return for what is expected to be a record-breaking sequel.
