In collaboration with MTN Nigeria, Nigeria’s foremost production company, Ultima Studios hosted a grand industry event to commemorate the premiere of the globally acclaimed game show ‘Family Feud’.
Guests from several different media platforms attended the premiere event. A-list Nollywood celebrities like Tee-Y Mix and Sharon Ooja also participated in the premiere. These A-List celebrities dazzled the red carpet in stunning attires.
The premiere was held on October 3 at the Ultima Studios in Lekki. It featured exciting games. Guests were allowed to win cash prizes from the games. A mock Family Feud episode was also staged at the premiere event to entertain the guests. The production company and the organizers did this to excite the guests about what is to come to television screens across the nation from Friday, October 7,
Guests were enthralled as they watched the families battle for the ultimate prize. Following the format of the show, the mock episode features two families. Additionally, the TV show host, Bisola Aiyeola, was the host of the mock-episode.
Family Feud Nigeria will air on DSTV and GoTV’s Africa Magic Family and Africa Magic Urban – starting on Friday, October 7, 2022. Next year, in 2023, The broadcast will be extended to several terrestrial TV channels, with the NTA Network leading the pack.
The Acting Chief Digital Officer, MTN Nigeria, Aisha Umar Mumuni, addressed the attendants of the premiere, stating, “MTN Nigeria is committed to creating varied outlets for growth and development of Nigerians, including entertainment.”
Further, the chief digital officer stated, “We prioritize the need to provide families with wholesome entertaining content. Family Feud Nigeria does just that. It brings in the forefront the authenticity of Nigerians, starting with the wonderful host of the TV show, Bisola. We are excited to see Nigerian families win on the show and the different digital games. It is all very exciting.”
